EDITORS COLUMN

This will be my last issue editing TOPSIDE as my last month at NDC will be spent in Key West conducting the Working Diver training course. I have enjoyed creating and writing this newsletter and hope it has brought you and headquarters a “little closer.” I have also enjoyed supporting all of your operational and administrative requirements during my tour at the Dive Center.

During my many years with the Dive Program, I have worked with several of you and will no doubt continue to in the future. When I return in February, I will be at my new assignment at NMFS in Seattle. I will continue to dive while at NMFS and for the first time in 18 years be a “grunt“ diver.

Good luck with your future projects and remember, a good diver "Knows what he doesn’t Know". Always be aware of your limitations, dive within them and "keep safe".End of article
